Job Description

Loading, unloading, transporting, and delivering materials or equipment on short or long haul trips with the use of a tandem axle truck and pup or trailer. When necessary, drivers may be assigned other equipment to operate or be assigned other duties. Drivers are expected to operate in a professional manner at all times and follow all safety regulations. Each driver must pass a Drug and Alcohol Pre-Employment test as well. Responsibilities
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspection report
  • Maintaining a maintenance and repair log
  • Ensuring the safety and security of cargo
  • Inspecting vehicle and reporting any issues to a supervisor
  • Performing brake adjustments
  • Performing routine maintenance (greasing, washing, oil change, etc.)
  • Reporting any required or preventative maintenance to a supervisor
  • Complying with applicable legislation and safety standards
  • Receiving and relaying information to dispatcher
  • Operating wheel loader to load aggregates into the truck

Drivers are expected to operate in a professional manner at all times and follow all safety regulations. Each driver must pass a Drug and Alcohol Pre-Employment test as well.   • Receiving and relaying information to dispatcher
  • Planning travel schedule and routes
